Hi I am Ling, I was born in Shanghai. Before move to London, I have lived in Italy for 10 years and several months in New York. During the life in Italy, I took "Ai ling" (pinyin: Ai-lin) as my pen name, figuratively, "a harmonious sound", which, in 2008 I used it for receiving the first prize from ’Inside Technology’ by AvanadeAccenture & Microsoft, representing my painting in Rome, and in 2007 publishing my first story ‘Il sentiero’ in Italy, a book collective "cuori di donne" with the Publisher Nicolodi. During the present time, I use it also for my friends.

As an award-winning design specialist, artist, and team leader with a diverse portfolio of success, and a passion for the cultural and creative industries. In my studies and work (recently running my own profitable graphic design company), I am highly-motivated, well-organised, and team player as well as an effective researcher and problem solver with excellent communication skills, intrinsic creative talent and a keen eye for efficient budgeting, quality, and timeline constraints.
